2001: Michael Ray Richardson had three hits and Jason Freeman belted a two-run homer to lead the Twin City Titans to a 12-5 win over Lewiston to complete a sweep in senior American Legion baseball. Ryan Brisby hit a three-run double in the opener to key an 8-6 win for the Titans.

1996: Steve Mitchell hit two homers and drove in eight runs, and Jason Repko added a two-run shot as the Hanford Junior Flames rolled to 11-7 and 18-8 wins over West Valley in American Legion baseball.

1993: Pendleton golfer Nels Nelson, the top shooter at Oregon State, outdueled three-time champion Dick Cartmell of Richland to win the Tri-City Amatuer by two strokes. Nelson shot a 3-under-par 200 over 54 holes.
