Despite being swept by the Twin City Titans on Wednesday night, the Kennewick Bandits still walked away with the Central Washington League American Legion title.
The Titans (15-13) beat the Bandits 6-0 and 10-6 at Richland High School, getting home runs on the night from Hunter Chambers and Mason Hilty.
Its a tough league, said Titans manager Pete Marquez. The Bandits have a quality team and the Yakima teams came out to play. You have to come to play every day. A new season starts Saturday.
The Bandits will host the district tournament, starting Saturday at Roy Johnson Field.
