Benton City man accused of Kennewick vehicle prowl

— A Benton City man was arrested on suspicion of prowling vehicles Tuesday morning in Kennewick.

Police were called to the 300 block of North Filmore Street directly across from Albertsons about 10 a.m., according to Kennewick Police Department reports.

Shelby Haddock, 31, was trying to hide and did not follow police commands, according to police reports.

He allegedly briefly struggled before an officer had him in handcuffs.

He was arrested on suspicion of trespassing at the apartment complex and obstructing a police officer, in addition to suspicion of vehicle prowl.
