Letter: More concerned for victims than their killer

July 14, 2013

Regarding the article (TCH, June 22) about the death of convicted killer Ernest Taber: I was appalled by his attorney, Kevin Holt, quoted as saying "(Taber) loved the outdoors and I feel sorry for the fact that he never once again got to go out and go fishing before he passed away."

Does Holt think those two children, ages 3 and 6 when they were killed, would have loved to go fishing one more time or had one more Christmas with their loved ones?

If they were your children, would you have wanted to take Mr. Taber fishing one more time?
