WSU to offer apple field day in Wenatchee

Washington State University is offering an apple field day. The event is at 5 p.m. Aug. 7 at Sunrise Research Orchard, Wenatchee.

Participants will discuss research on various topics, including updates in apple breeding, fabric covering and apple thinning research and replanting studies.

Stefano Mussachi, the newly appointed university chair in pomology, will be introduced. Workshops are free, but reservations are required.
