Letter: Dedicated teachers give students opportunity to explore

July 11, 2013

I'm thankful for teachers who are enthusiastic about teaching. I'm thankful about that because if we didn't have them, more and more students would fail and school wouldn't be as fun.

I'm also thankful about choices I am able to have at school. One of those choices would be exploratory classes: arts, computers, band and orchestra. Each of those have different effects on students. For example, people who play an instrument tend to be smarter than people who don't play an instrument. Students who can participate in exploratory classes became become great artists, computer engineers or musicians.

Those are all things I'm thankful about school.
