Letter: Fundraiser for Disneyland creates memories for cancer patient and family

Making memories

Harry S. Truman said, "It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit."

Not wanting credit but only desiring that our son's family experience Disneyland, Ted and Lois Osborn held a fundraiser. The Osborns collected donations from family, friends, classmates and strangers to our family, and last month, Cory, his wife, Jennifer (who is battling a very aggressive cancer), and their children (ages 10, 7, and 5) flew to California and Disneyland. Because of the generosity of many and the "let's make it happen attitude" of Lois and Ted, wonderful memories were made.

Thanks to all who gave in thought, prayer and money. Special thanks to Ted and Lois, their kindness to our family is beyond measure!
