Letter: Businesses step up to support Moonlight Catfish event

July 11, 2013

The Richland Rod and Gun Club would like to thank Sportsman's Warehouse, Griggs, the Battelle employees association, Northwest Rental and the state Department of Fish and Wildlife for supporting this year's Moonlight Catfish tournament. These businesses stepped up to help the club provide fishing opportunities throughout the summer for the community!

The tournament results were 59 large channel catfish with a total weight of 254 pounds that were placed into Columbia Park's family fishing pond on June 22.

The two tournament winners were Chris Moser, with biggest fish at 10 pounds, 9 ounces and Mike Stocke, the total weight winner at 13 fish at 66 pounds, 8 ounces. Congratulations.

Our sincere thanks for your help!
