Moses Lake boy stable after alleged stabbing

Tyler Richardson, Tri-City HeraldJuly 10, 2013

A 16-year-old boy is in stable condition at a Moses Lake hospital after he was allegedly stabbed several times by three suspects.

One of the suspects, Dahndre Westwood, 14, was arrested Wednesday and will be booked into the Grant County Youth Services Facility, said a Grant County Sheriff's office release.

The sheriff's office is still searching for Travis Scott, 17, and Victor J. Mejia, 16, in connection with the stabbing Tuesday.

The 16-year-old was stabbed in the Larson Housing Area just north of Moses Lake, the release said. He was involved in an altercation with a group of juveniles that included the three suspects.

Anyone with information on the suspects' whereabouts or the incident should call 911. A tip can also be sent to crimetips@co.grant.wa.us.
