July 8, 2013

You can’t win ’em all.

The Tri-City Dust Devils found that out Monday night when they lost 11-3 to the host Boise Hawks in Northwest League play.

This came one night after Tri-City had won the first four games of this five-game series with the Hawks.

Boise pounded Tri-City pitchers for 14 hits, including three by Daniel Lockhart.

David Bote added a home run for the Hawks.

Ashley Graeter and Alec Mehrten each had two hits for the Dust Devils, who have an off day today and then return home Wednesday for a five-game set against the Hillsboro Hops.
