Washington Force U-12 softball team takes third at state tournament

The Washington Force 2000 12-and-under softball team placed third at the ASA State B Championships at Borst Park.

The Force finished the tournament with a 4-2 record, losing both games by one run Sunday.

After winning its first four games, the Force came up short in its first game Sunday, falling to the Washington Illusion 6-5 in extra innings. The Force then fell to the Acers 9-8, losing the game on the last at-bat in an elimination game.

The Force finishes the season with a 39-14-2 tournament record.
