— Three people were taken to the hospital Friday morning after a head-on collision on Highway 17 in Mesa, the Washington State Patrol reported.

Daisha L. Hall, 20, of Walla Walla, lost control of her Ford Crown Victoria on a curve and collided head-on with Erin L. McLain, 21, of Kennewick, who was driving a Mitsubishi Lancer, WSP said. The crash happened just after 8 a.m.

Both drivers and Hall’s passenger, Ronnie C. Hulce, 19, of Waitsburg, were taken to Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland.

Hulce was treated and released, the release said. The women’s conditions were not immediately available.

Both cars were totaled and WSP is investigating the crash.
