— A Hermiston woman was injured Wednesday in a two-car crash south of Kennewick about 1:50 p.m. Wednesday, the Washington State Patrol reported.

Shelley M. Wilson, 52, driving east on Interstate 82 when she made an unsafe lane change in her 2009 Ford Escape and struck a 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass driven by Arturo Gavilanes-Zepeda of Pullman, WSP reported.

Gavilanes-Zepeda was not injured. Wilson was taken to Kennewick General Hospital where she was treated and later released, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Both drives were wearing seat belts. The WSP said Wilson will be cited for unsafe lane change.
