Local businesses to take part in Tri-City chamber health challenge

July 2, 2013

The Tri-City Regional Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a “Good Health is Good Business” campaign.

From July 9 to Nov. 5, local businesses will compete in a 100-Day Wellness Challenge.

The challenge encourages business owners and employees to be more mindful about exercise, nutrition, stress management and smoking cessation.

The challenge will begin with a luncheon July 24 at the Three Rivers Convention Center.

Former NBA basketball player James Donaldson will be the speaker.

Cost to participate in the challenge is $10 for chamber members and $20 nonmembers.
