State indefinitely suspends Kennewick massage practitioner's license

Tri-City HeraldJuly 2, 2013

— The state Department of Health announced Tuesday that it’s indefinitely suspended the license of Kennewick massage practitioner Donald A. Brandsma after claims of sexual misconduct.

Brandsma is accused of kissing and inappropriately touching two female clients and telling them they were cute and he loved them.

He couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.

Brandsma can apply for reinstatement, although he would have to “meet requirements designed to protect the public” before reinstatement could happen, a health department news release said. The requirements could include a psychological evaluation and practicing under supervision, the release said.
