— Authorities are looking for a 30-year-old Tri-City man in connection with a drive-by shooting in West Richland early Monday.

Juan Manuel Velasco reportedly fled the 1 a.m. shooting on the 1000 block of North 61st Avenue in a green Buick passenger car, said a release. No one was hurt.

West Richland Police Chief Brian McElroy said the shooting apparently stemmed from a dispute Velasco had with another man. Velasco allegedly fired a single shot from a shotgun as he left the area.

McElroy said police began investigating after a call was made to 911 following the gunshot. He said he didn’t know who reported the incident or what the dispute was about.

Velasco isdescribed as being 5-foot-7, weighing 170 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes and the name “Makayla” tattooed on his right arm. He’s been known to stay at residences in West Richland and Pasco.

Anyone who sees Velasco or knows his whereabouts is urged to call 586-TIPS (8477) or 1-800-222-8477.

All calls to Crime Stoppers are confidential and rewards up to $1,000 are paid for information leading to arrests in connection with any felony crimes.
