Comrie invited to Canada's junior national team camp

Tri-City Americans goalie Eric Comrie was one of 13 Western Hockey League players invited to Canada’s National Junior Team summer development camp, set for Aug. 4-10 in Brossard, Quebec, and Lake Placid, N.Y.

Comrie is one of three goalie invited to the camp. Joining him are Zach Fucale of the Halifax Mooseheads (QMJHL) and Jake Paterson of the Saginaw Spirit (OHL).

Canada’s National Junior Team will gather in Brossard at the Montreal Canadiens’ practice facility for two practices — Aug. 4-5 before traveling to Lake Placid for exhibition games against Finland (Aug. 7), Sweden (Aug. 8) and the United States (Aug. 10).
