Living History back in action June 29 at Whitman Mission

Living History returns to the Whitman Mission on June 29 when historic missionary Narcissa Whitman comes to life through actor Karen Haas.

The re-enactment starts at 2 p.m., with Haas talking about Narcissa's life in the 1800s when she came to the Walla Walla Valley with her husband, Marcus.

Then at 6 p.m., Haas will reflect more on the Whitmans' missionary work.

The Whitman Mission is seven miles west of Walla Walla off Highway 12. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday and Monday and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
