Tri-City gay rights event planned tonight in Pasco

by The Tri-City HeraldJune 26, 2013

A Tri-City gay rights organization plans a community gathering tonight in response to the U.S. Supreme Court's rulings on the Defense of Marriage Act and California's Proposition 8.

Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays, or PFLAG, of Benton and Franklin counties is holding the event at 7 p.m. in Room 102 in the library at Columbia Basin College in Pasco.

Jill Mullins, of the QLAW Foundation and the Seattle law firm McKinley Irvin, will be among the speakers, and there will be a question and answer session at the end.

Tri-City Herald is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news.
