Tri-City HeraldJune 24, 2013

— Two men were shot Sunday during an altercation at an apartment complex in Warden, according to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office.

The men suffered non-life threatening injuries and are being treated at Samaritan Hospital in Moses Lake, a sheriff’s office release said. A suspect in the shootings has fled and authorities are searching for him.

The sheriff’s office did not release the name of the suspect or the two victims.

Around 7:30 p.m., the suspect and one of the victims got into an argument at the apartment complex on 800 South Country Road, the release said. The suspect then pulled out a handgun and shot the man twice.

Another man standing next to the first victim was also shot, the release said.

Anyone with information about the incident should contact the Warden Police Department at 509-762-1160.
