Two Kennewick motorcyclists injured in crash

June 23, 2013 

— Two Kennewick residents were injured Saturday afternoon when a dog ran out in front of their motorcycle near Kennewick.

The motorcyclists were southbound on Clodfelter Road near 245 Pr. South East when they hit the dog at about 4 p.m., said Sgt. Bob Brockman with Benton County Sheriff’s Office.

The 32-year-old male driver was transported to a local hospital with a head injury, he said. The 32-year-old female passenger received some road rash injuries.

The dog was killed, Brockman said.
