Awards and Achievements for June 23

- James Stairet of Kennewick recently graduated from the Washington State Patrol Academy. Stairet completed his trooper basic training class on June 12.

He is a graduate of Kennewick High School. His parents are Eric and Dolores Stairet of Kennewick.

- Ayusa International is seeking volunteers to house a foreign exchange student throughout the upcoming school year.

- Ashley Davidson, 15, of Burbank, recently was named the 2014 Washington State Quarter Horse Association Emerald Queen.

Her duties include outreach to and support of the equestrian community at shows events throughout the state.
