Police warn residents after rash of burglaries in Pasco

Tri-City HeraldJune 20, 2013

— Pasco police are warning residents to lock their doors and windows after a rash of residential burglaries recently in West Pasco.

The burglaries have happened primarily during the day in West Pasco neighborhoods, a release from the Pasco Police Department said. There have been at least 36 residential burglaries in Pasco since May.

Police believe most of the recent burglaries are being committed by the same group of suspects, the release said. The suspects are breaking sliding glass doors and windows to get into the houses.

Residents should lock all doors, use alarm systems and call police if they see any suspicious activity.

The Pasco Police Department can be reached at 509-544-3080.
