Letter: Kamiakin should do more to recognize Running Start seniors

June 18, 2013

I would like to respond to the recent letter regarding Kamiakin High School's graduation ceremony and the "forgotten" students who did not receive the well-deserved acknowledgement for having completed Running Start and not only graduating from high school but graduating from Columbia Basin College at the same time with an associate's degree.

My son Thomas Holland has been attending CBC through Running Start for the last two years, which involves unbelievable dedication and hard work.

I believe Thomas and all his colleagues should receive the congratulations they deserve. Shame on you, Kamiakin, for forgetting these amazing kids!
