Special Ki-Be school board session today

By The Tri-City HeraldJune 13, 2013

BENTON CITY -- The Kiona-Benton City School Board plans a special meeting at 6 p.m. Friday to discuss personnel matters and consult with its attorney.

The district did not release more details about the topic of the meeting but earlier this week the board placed Mark Noyes, the district's maintenance and operations manager, on paid administrative.

He allegedly stole district property and sold it on eBay, according to an investigation conducted by the Benton County Sheriff's Office.

Part of the meeting at the district's office behind Kiona-Benton City High School could be a closed-door session but any action must be taken in an open session under state law.
