Excursion train trip June 15 in Oregon

By the Herald staffJune 13, 2013

The Eagle Cap Excursion Train's next rail trip is June 15, leaving from the Elgin Depot in Oregon.

But this won't be just any train ride. The Elgin Stampeders, a notorious gang of bandits, are planning a heist aboard the Eagle Cap, so passengers should come prepared for an afternoon of laughs and excitement, as well as lunch. Cost for the four-hour train ride, which leaves at 10 a.m., is $75 for adults, $70 for seniors and $40 for ages 3 to 16.
