Letter: Hospice House caregivers help patient stay home with her husband

June 13, 2013

I just wanted to say, Thank you, to the team from Hospice House at the Tri-Cities Chaplaincy that took care of my wife and me during this past year.

That team consisted of Bonnie, a nurse; Stephanie, a nurse's aide; Paul, a chaplain; and Natalie, a social worker.

I also want to give a very special thank you to the caregivers, Candi and Cristi, who helped me care for her. I believe she was very close to and greatly appreciated Candi, Stephanie, Bonnie and Cristi.

If it were not for all of them, I would not have been able to keep her home, and I will always be very thankful and appreciate of that.

I would strongly recommend that those who find themselves in similar circumstances make contact with the Tri-Cities Chaplaincy and also find good and trusted caregivers.
