Wednesday's Legion baseball roundup

Twin City Titans starting pitcher David Marshall struck out 11 batters while tossing a five-inning complete game in a 15-4 win over the Pasco Sun Devils on Wednesday at Bomber Field in Richland, capping a Central Washington League Senior Legion doubleheader sweep.

The Titans picked up a 7-4 win in Game 1.

Logan Jackson went 3-for-3 with three runs scored and two RBIs to lead the Titans’ offense in the nightcap, and Tim Ruane added three RBIs. Spencer Bennion drove in two runs — including a solo home run — for the Sun Devils in Game 2.

In the opener, Twin City scored five runs in the first inning to jump start the win, which was highlighted by Ty Earley’s three RBIs. Dylan Keach and Gibson McGeorge each drove in two for the Titans (7-5).

Justin Larsen, Ryan Baker and Mikie Jones hit doubles, and Jaden Green added a triple for Kennewick, which has won eight of its last nine games.

Burbank (11-1, 6-0 league) scored 17 runs on 10 hits in a Game 1 win, as Tim Ellis and Tucker Simington combined for seven RBIs.

Dillon Wilbert and JJ Hancock each had two hits in the game.

Columbia Basin came back to win the nightcap 7-3 to salvage a split.
