Benton County firefighters are now battling another blaze east of Kennewick near the fertilizer plant off Highway 397, also called Chemical Drive.

Fire crews from several agencies are switching from the large fire south of Kennewick that's now mostly contained to help fight the Finley fire.

Some roads are blocked in the area.

The fire is along the railroad tracks and has burned up to the Tessenderlo Kerley plant and damaged a piece of earth-moving equipment behind the plant, according to Benton County Emergency Services.

At this time there is no need for evacuations of the public, said the agency.
