Tri-Tech students receive awards at ceremony

Kennewick's Tri-Tech Skills Center students recently were honored at an awards ceremony.

The students received scholarships and awards from the Tri-Cities Area Education Cooperative.

Jeffrey Odland, automotive technology program, received the Faurot Family Scholarship.

The recipients of the Rotary Achievement Award for Vocational Excellence are Danielle Nelson, graphic communication and web design; Evelyn Castillo, construction trades; Jacee Jamison, culinary arts; and Ryan Walker, diesel technology.

Braden Loveland, radio broadcasting, received the Terry Bailey Memorial Scholarship.

The recipients of the Columbia Center Rotary Tool and Equipment Award are Brandon Gardner, auto body and Eric Johnson, construction trades.

The recipients of the Dave Fast Memorial Scholarship are Jeffrey Odland and Eder Samaniego, automotive technology.

The recipients of the Pasco-Kennewick Rotary Tool and Equipment award are Valerio Carmona, auto body; Jeffrey Odland; Jacee Jamison; Madeline Bauer, culinary arts; Luis Lacatero, construction trades; and Rusty West, construction trades.

The Ye Olde Car Club Scholarship was awarded to Eder Samaniego.

The Robert Orr Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Jeffrey Odland.
