Gonzales named to NWAACC first team

Former Kennewick standout Jarod Gonzales, a first baseman for Walla Walla Community College, was named to the All-NWAACC Baseball First Team.

A freshman, Gonzales hit .352 for the season, led the NWAACC with 11 home runs and was third overall with 46 RBIs. He also had 58 hits, including 15 doubles, and scored 41 runs.

Spokane outfielder Oz Bartleson (Southridge) and Walla Walla utility player Jesse Houser (Kamiakin) were named to the second team.
