The U.S. Tennis Association is giving the city of Richland $40,000 to help with building four new tennis courts and improvements at Claybell Park.
The association announced the grant, which comes through its facility assistance program, on Wednesday.
We are committed to enhancing and building more tennis facilities in communities across the country, said Kurt Kamperman, an association official, in the news release. The tennis courts are part of the citys Claybell Park/Bellerive Drive project.
