Man found in cabinet at Hermiston school

By the Tri-City HeraldMay 26, 2013

Hermiston police arrested an 18-year-old man Saturday morning after they say he broke into a local elementary school.

Police responded to Rocky Heights Elementary around 3:25 a.m. after an alarm at the school went off.

After searching the building, they found Alexandro Magana hiding in a cabinet, Chief Jason Edmiston said. It appears Magana got into the school through a window.

Magana allegedly had computer equipment belonging to the school when police found him.

Magana was booked into the Umatilla County jail on burglary and theft charges.
