Young Marines raise money to offset theft

May 24, 2013

— The Columbia River Young Marine unit made a donation Friday to help combat a recent theft. The youth education and service program donated $470 to Camp Patriot at Ranch and Home in Kennewick, where a donation jar was stolen on May 15. Money for Camp Patriot, a nonprofit that takes disabled veterans on outdoor adventures, was raised from Young Marine families and employees of Ben Franklin Transit and HAPO Credit Union.
