Winemaker will help develop Anelare vintages

By The Tri-City HeraldMay 23, 2013

Renowned winemaker Charlie Hoppes, who owns Fidelitas Wines, will help develop Anelare's next vintages.

"Charlie Hoppes has been one of our favorite winemakers since we got into the business," Kahryn Alexander, Anelare's managing partner, said in a statement. "His focus on Red Mountain fruit and our desire to primarily source that fruit has a special synergy about it."

Anelare is a private, limited bottling winery that sells wine primarily to wine club members.

The winery, co-owned by longtime Tri-Citians Forrest and Kahryn Alexander and Dr. Jim and Cindy Campbell, bottles about 800 cases each year. Fidelitas is a boutique winery in the Red Mountain AVA.
