Mummy exhibit opens June 14 in Portland

The largest collection of mummies assembled in the Northwest will be on display starting June 14 at OMSI in Portland.

About 150 specimens and objects are part of the exhibition, which includes three Egyptian mummies, a Peruvian child mummy, a monkey mummy and a tattooed female mummy.

Hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Admission is from $5.75 to $12 for adults, and from $5 to $9 for kids 3 to 13 and seniors 63 and older. For more information, go to www.omsi.edu.
