Man convicted of child molestation living in Kennewick

— A Level 3 sex offender convicted of child molestation is currently living on the 1100 block of N. Arthur St. in Kennewick, according to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office.

Robert Lane Hammerly, 24, is currently under Department of Corrections Supervision. Hammerly was convicted of third-degree child molestation and communication with a minor for immoral purposes in 2009.

Hammerly was also convicted of failing to register as a sex offender in Benton County two separate times in 2010 and 2012, according to the sheriff’s office.

A sex offender meeting is held at the Kennewick Police Department on the second Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m. to provide information to the public.
