— Police have tentatively identified a man who they say dumped paint cans into a Kennewick business’ dumpster earlier this month.

Tri-Cities Crimestoppers released photos Tuesday of the man allegedly putting 20-30 paint cans from the back of his pickup truck into the dumpster on the 500 block of N. Quay St.

Less than an hour after the photos were released to the public, police believe they identified the suspect, Kennewick police Crime Prevention Specialist Mike Blatman said.

Crimestoppers is offering up to $1,000 cash for information about the May 11 incident.

The pickup is a white, 2000’s model Chevy with an extended cab and the man has a tattoo on his left calf.
