Gather4Him Bible College may have found a permanent home at last. At least that is the hopeful prayer the college's president, Bob Nash, has been offering up to for the past few years.

The college recently settled in at 929 Aaron Drive in Richland.

"We've renovated the facility pretty much from the ground up on the interior and did some work on the exterior too," Nash said. "Now we're all in one building, thank God."

Nash, a former principal at Liberty Christian School in Richland, is leading Gather4Him, an independent and non-denominational college. It's part of the Gather4Him ministries, a Pasco-based nonprofit group that puts on the annual Gathering youth convention in the Tri-Cities and runs a record label, Gathering Records.

The college opened its doors in 2008 in Pasco. It's moved since then to so many buildings in Pasco, Richland and Kennewick that Nash has almost lost track of the number.

The college offers an associate's in biblical studies. It teaches basics -- math, science, history -- as well as electives in biblical studies, ranging from literature to pastoral counseling, Nash said.

Gather4Him is affiliated with Corban University in Salem, Ore., and Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho. The college is in the process of widening its accreditation base.
