Waitsburg-Prescott boys second in 2B track

May 19, 2013 

Led by James Thompkins, the Waitsburg-Prescott boys team took second at the 2B regional track meet at Clarkston High on Friday.

Thompkins won the 100, 200, 400 and anchored the winning 4x100 relay. The Tigers also got a win from Ben Shafer in the shot put.

DeSales' lone victory came from Andrew Elmenhurst in the javelin, while Walla Walla Valley Academy's Brandon Bissell was victorious in the 110 and 300 hurdles, and the long jump.

On the girls side, WWVA's Abbie Underhill won the 300 hurdles and the long jump, while DeSales' Allison Wujek won the 100 hurdles.
