Diocese schools to be part of safety effort

By the Herald staffMay 18, 2013

Several schools within the Diocese of Yakima are participating in the Take 25 campaign, a child safety campaign led by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The campaign asks parents to take 25 minutes to talk to their children about safety and preventing abduction.

Students at Christ the King School in Richland and St. Joseph School in Kennewick will receive safety presentations Thursday.

Each participant will receive an information packet.
