May 14, 2013

— A three-car crash on the Snake River bridge east of Pasco sent one woman to the hospital Tuesday, the Washington State Patrol reported.

Fatima T. Rodas, 26, of Pasco, failed to slow for traffic in her Toyota Camry and hit the car in front of her, WSP reported. The wreck was just before 4 p.m. about 3 miles east of Pasco.

Rodas reportedly hit a Geo Prizm in front of her driven by Maricela Flores De Gonzalez, 33, of Pasco, who in turn hit the car in front of her, a Honda Accord driven by Kaycie R. Sanchez, 28, of Pasco, WSP said.

All the cars were driving west on Highway 12.

Rodas was injured and taken to Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco.

De Gonzalez and Sanchez were not injured, the WSP said.
