The game is a gentler version of dodge ball and allowed all the students in attendance to play in the gym for the first time. "It's not complete until it's filled with kids," said Principal Eric Haan.

Bethlehem Lutheran School in Kennewick celebrated the opening of its new gymnasium on Monday.

"We had to do our school building in phases," said Principal Eric Haan.

The school had been holding its physical education classes in the building that had bare concrete, but started work on installing the floor, basketball hoops, bleachers and scoreboard in January.
