Letter: Reader takes to dictionary to describe Obama-bashing letter to the editor

Caustic letter

After reading a letter to the editor on April 29, I felt compelled to respond to the criticism of President Obama. I couldn't find the word I was looking for to describe the 43 words that Joe Rupp wrote. I decided to check with my Webster's dictionary and see if I could find that one word that would fit. I found it! That word is "vitriol." The definition is: savagely caustic criticism. I might also add envy -- Rupp must find it hard to accept that President Obama is smarter than he is.
