Pasco's Dura-Shine Clean named small business of the year

May 10, 2013

— Dura-Shine Clean of Pasco recently was named the 2013 Mid-Columbia Small Business of the Year for its employee relations, customer service and commitment to the community.

Part of the reason Dura-Shine Clean was chosen includes special recognition lunches and dinners, 24-hour service for their customers, volunteer work and free house cleaning offered to women undergoing cancer treatment, according to a news release.

CEO and co-founder Carlos Martinez said in a statement, “Every member of our team contributes to our success. Exceeding expectations in all we do for our clients and how we serve our community, is a part of what we do every day at Dura-Shine Clean.”

Dura-Shine Clean recently opened a new $700,000 facility at 6216 W. Court St. in Pasco, which replaced the company’s Richland office.

The Mid-Columbia Small Business Awards recognizes locally-owned Benton and Franklin counties businesses with less than 60 full-time employees.
