Moses Lake woman injured after being thrown off motorcycle

— A Moses Lake woman was injured Wednesday afternoon when she was thrown off a motorcycle on Highway 17 near Moses Lake, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Viki L. Anderson, 49, was taken to Samaritan Hospital after the motorcycle she was riding on slid as it stopped suddenly for oncoming traffic two miles south of Moses Lake around 4:50 p.m., WSP said.

Anderson’s condition was not immediately available.

The driver of the motorcycle, Paul E. Anderson, 49, was not injured, WSP said.
