Columbia Basin main canal flows restored

Water flows to the Columbia Basin Project's main canal recently were restored.

The water in the main canal was shut off April 30 to allow work crews to repair collapsed concrete panels in the canal below Pinto Dam.

The state Bureau of Reclamation estimates that more than 200,000 acres of farmland were affected by the shutdown.
