Ag labor law seminar set Tuesday in Kennewick

The U.S. Department of Labor is offering a seminar on agricultural labor laws and requirements for growers and farmworkers.

The grower session is from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The first farmworker session is from 5 to 7 p.m. the same day.

Both sessions will be at WorkSource Columbia Basin, 815 N. Kellogg St., Kennewick.

The meetings are free and open to the public.

The sessions will cover recordkeeping, wages, timekeeping, contractor registration, child labor, housing, transportation and more.
