Letter: Where has the freedom gone?

May 5, 2013

When is this country going to start honoring religious beliefs that have been in existence for ages? The suit against Arlene's Flowers crosses the line. A business that refuses to serve anyone should have that right, but when it is for their beliefs, there should be no lawsuits or condemnation.

The person refused service should respect the owner's rights and go someplace else. I think if it were a Muslim shop that refused service for a religious belief, there would be far less, if any outcry. Come on America, where has freedom gone?
