May 4, 2013

— A Sunnyside teen was injured Saturday afternoon when his pickup got a flat tire and rolled in the Interstate 82 median near Zillah.

Manuel Osorio-Gomez, 17, was taken to Providence Hospital in Toppenish for treatment.

The Washington State Patrol reported that Osorio-Gomez was westbound at 3:47 p.m. when the left, rear tire on his 2004 Ford Ranger went flat.

Osorio-Gomez lost control of the truck, which went into the median and rolled.

He was wearing a seat belt in the crash, the State Patrol report said.
